Dnipropetrovsk` news

The site bystander.dp.ua was created in September 2001. In the very beginning of the project we formed its clear goals and priorities, and we have been trying to follow these guidelines till today. When our site won Small Internet Grant from IATP project it practically got its second birth. Since that time we have courage to consider bystander.dp.ua a regional and national level project.

Not so long ago, the site was purely "a Dnepropetrovsk" initiative, but presently we are developing plans to open affiliations in Sumy, Chernihyv, and Dneprodzerjinsk. "To open affiliations" means that news from those cities will be placed at our site. Actually, every person from every city acknowledged as "an author" can publish articles ( contributions ). But on the site front page we publish only articles that are, from the point of view of the site administrators, most relevant and successful in respect of stylistics, freshness of information presentation, professionalism of the author, or articles previously published in mass media.
